ABOUT SYBERTHON

Shortest way to explore CyberSecurity threats and its Importants.

Cyber Wellness Centre

Cybertrix, CTU is going to organize Hackathon fest ‘Syberthon’ which is a 36-hour, non-stop Hackathon, sponsored by the CT University, is dedicated to free/open source software in the field of cybersecurity.

The Goal

The goal is to gather various developer groups to collaborate on challenging programming problems in the field of cybersecurity: from information sharing, network/system forensic, AI challenges, network/computer exploitation or defense.

The
Objective

The objective of the syberthon is also to improve the interoperability and exchange between the different security tools. The spirit of the competition is like being a part of marathons.

Dignity | curiosity

Whatever the reason is they're at a hackathon, we want to make sure you're maintaining the hacker spirit by collaborating with other teams, helping beginners, and having fun.

FAQ

Do you have a particular theme for the Hackathon?

Yes The Syberthon having a theme related to Cyber security. You can use any technology to build your hacks.

Is there any charges for registration?

Yes for Registrations you have to pay Rs 1000/-per team and For workshop charges are Rs500/-.

Do you provide accommodation and fooding?

Yes. Each team member will be provided accommodation and fooding during the Hackathon. You don't need to pay a single penny. That's on us.

What is the criteria of selection?

You will be judged on the quality of your idea. The idea is only a part of the judgement. The skills of your team members would play a major role in your selection.

How do we have to submit our idea?

You must submit your idea in plain text in about 200 words. In case you are selected, we would ask you for additional documentation later.

Is the selection per-member or per-team basis?

The selection is per-team basis

I don't have an original idea. Can I still participate?

Yes. Not every idea needs to be unique. Sometimes you may do it better than existent. You can also improve the existing products.

I don't have a Computer Science background. Can I still participate?

Yes. Creativity is independent of your technical skills. You can learn the tools and technologies anytime

You are requested to go through the Rule Book and the Code of Conduct to get the complete details of the event
